16 November 2007 hi,

i have passed CA PE-II 2nd group and has appeared for Nov.2007 as my 7th attempt . i have completed my articleship in April 2007.i want to ask :

1) whether any more attempts are left for me to appear for PE-II or i have to get registered for PCE

2) If i get registered under PCE , whether i have to appear for both groups or for the remaining one only.what i will be required to do under the new course.

16 November 2007 u can appear as pe2 student for ist group in may 2008 it is the last attempt

if u disire for transfer u can trnasfer to pcc and give exam in may 2008 for ist group only

ur 2nd group stands clear

19 November 2007 Number of attempts do not matter. That restriction is waived. You can appear in May o8 or transit to PCC after.Good Luck.
