Happy New Year to all experts.
My query is can the transferred shares be reinstated. If yes what is the procedure.
The payment cheque was given to the seller but he has not got the cheque cleared till date.

09 January 2025 If shares were transferred due to a mistake, fraud, or other invalid reasons, the transfer could potentially be reversed or reinstated through legal or contractual remedies. For instance, if the transfer was made under duress or fraud, the shareholder might be able to challenge it in court or seek other legal means to reverse the transaction.
In certain cases, shares may have been transferred but later placed under a revoked or suspended status (for example, due to non-payment, inactivity, or other reasons). In this case, the shareholder might be able to reinstate their shares by satisfying the conditions set by the company or regulatory authority.
