I have just completed my 2 Years and 1 month articleship. My parents are shifting from 1 place to another due to some domestic reasons. I just want to know what type of proof are required to be submitted to my CA for taking transfer and is it complusory that i cant register myself as article within 50 km of earlier city.
Please reply me as soon as possible as it is very urgent.

19 May 2013 Im not sure that ca articleship transfer is permitted to u as u are in last year of articleship

if it is permitted,

yes,as you have completed 2 years of articleship so it is mandatory that you cannot re-register with in the radious of 50 km from the old office

and before that you need to get prior approval from icai to take transfer from current employer

19 May 2013 one better option is to join as an industrial trainee in industried approved by icai councel.

or secondment of articleship also may be possible
i am not aware of this process u may enquire for the same in nearest regional branch of icai
