Transfer of income tax file from kolkatta to ahmedabad

27 May 2015 After retiring from my job I have settled in Ahmedabad. I have requested my ASO Kolkatta to transfer the file to Ahmedabad seven months back but till today file is NOT TRANSFERRED.What further course of action is suggested so that my file gets transferred to Ahmedabad immediately.Would APPRECIATE if advise is sent to me at my email maheshkcs@hotmail.com

27 May 2015 1. You submit application for change of address in your PAN, to any PAN collection centre.
2. After receiving a new PAN card, submit a written request to your Ahmedabad jurisdiction ITO for transfer of PAN jurisdiction from Kolkata to Ahmedabad.

3. You request shall accompanied with photocopy of new PAN card and covering letter received along with new pan.
