Transfer of ca firm form one region to another.

13 September 2012 Hi Frnds,

First of all congrats for achieving 9.00 lacs members on CCI.

My query is as belows.
Suppose if i have one CA firm at western region and now i want to shift at any place which is falling in Southern region..
So whether firm name will remain same or it will be changed and what is procedures for that...??

13 September 2012 Firm name need not be changed UNLESS you desire to do so. The only procedure is to inform ICAI about your new address. This you can intimate to the decentralised office of your choice.
