I want to take a transfer there are only 9 days left for my completion of one year but i have a situation since my principal is out of station for 20 days so what are the formalities? Can i take transfer after he is back?

u can fill up ther form with current date to be entered in form 109 and ask your principal to sign later it will be valid.

Don't worry.
If you are going to take transfer with in one year then you only submit Form-109 signed by your principal.
In your case, if your principal is out of station, then you can submit form 109 with late fee.
