03 January 2013 CAN ANYONE TELL ME, HOW CAN I RESET PASSWORD ON TIN-NSDL SITE. I HAVE TRIED ON TRACES BUT THE DETAIL THEY DEMANDED, THAT QUARTER I HAVE FILLED NIL RETURN, SO THEY DID NOT ACCEPTED THE FORM. AND I WANT TO DOWNLOAD CONSOLIDATED FILE TO REVISE NIL RETURN. REPLY SOON

New Passwords are as follows
For Form16/16A - TAN
For NSDL Conso File - TAN_request number

One has to use this passwords to open files which are downloaded from Traces.

Further Any Query Revert me.

03 January 2013 If you already have a TAN Account in TIN, you can use the existing User Id and Password as in TIN to login to TRACES on first login.
once you have login on TRACES.. you should must to update your profile. update the profile.. and saved it correctly..
your TRACES TAN account will work.
