11 September 2008 Dear Sir,
I want to start a new business. The business type is Accounting Consultancy i.e.professional accounting work to be done. Therefore i want to register my firm wih applied law, but i don't know what is exact procedure & registration of this firm? Pls help me.

12 September 2008 You can begin now as Proprietorship
Just first thing structure self,partnership or company etc.

If your turnover reaches in range of 8L-10L,you need service tax registration

You have to apply for PAN in name of your firm.

Subject of number of employees in your firm you may need to be registered under PF/ESI rules and other registrations if required in your local state or municipal area like sho & establishment act registration.In case of any difficulty raise your query.Atlease let me know your area where you are going to start this business

But what is procedure to register under shop & establishment Act? How much fees should be at this registration time?

19 September 2008 The nominal fees is payable in labour department of your state which depends upon number of employees
