02 May 2013 We are the manufacturer of excisable goods and want to keep our finished goods outside the factory premises for storage. How to do this ?

02 May 2013 You are required to take permission from your jurisdictional AC or DC. Write a letter to your jurisdictional AC/DC requesting to store your inputs outside factory giving reasons. Follow Rule 8 of CCR in such case.

In case of finish goods, you can register a warehouse and can clear goods from your factory to warehouse under challan from where they can be sold.
