To change consignee address n excise invoice.

We bought steel from one company in Bangalore for one of our project in Delhi. Consignee was our client L&T. Now L&T wants us to change the consignee address to change to principal employer GMR. Can you please guide us how to chnage the consignee address? There are several invoices dated in 2009 and 2010.

CENVAT Invoices would have been issued by the Bangalore Seller, so how could the Buyer make any change in seller's Excise Invoice; At best you may indicate the change of Consignee by exchange of correspondence with L&T;

Can Bangalore seller do the necessary changes? If yes, then what should be the procedure and how much it could cost?
