27 May 2010 my uncle has forgotten to write Tin No. of Buyer in Sales Invoice. What will be the penalty according to Maharshtra Vat and Haryana Vat.

27 May 2010 If materials has already reached the buyer then you contact the buyer and ask for his tin no and write the same in your copy and also insist him to write the same on the bill send by you.

01 June 2010 If you have written the name and address of the buyer properly and only tin no has not been written and when the vehicle is intercepted by officer he will check the geneunies of the buyer and if the buyer exists then you will be asked to pay a compounding fine of Rs.500 to Rs.1000 depending on the value of the material. You need not pay any amounts as incentives to him.
