13 July 2011 can anyone tell me what is the time limit for availing the service tax credit, I mean can I take the service tax credit for the invoice one year old or two year old which we omitted to take the credit

13 July 2011 Dear Girish, there is no time limit for availing service tax credit, you can take it any time provided that you make sure that you have not availed that credit earlier.

13 July 2011 But if balance sheet finalized and service tax claim as exps. and no provision taken as service Tax receivable then you can not take two time claim. as exps. and input credit.
