Dear Experts,
Q.No.4(d) of May 2014 DTL paper was based on the case law "Supreme Agro Foods P Ltd" the Q. was related to Settlement Commision.
As soon as I saw this case law in suggested answers I searched for it in the "set of case laws" provided by the icai on its website I didn't find it there then I took the RTP for May 2014 still there was no mention of this case law.
Generally the above two resources are sufficient to look for in case you've to search for a case law asked in the exam, yet I inspected the RTP for Nov 2013 also and the same story continued; no mention of Supreme Agro at all.
So don't you feel it's an injustice to the students ?
and if your answer is a "no" then please cite the resource (off course of ICAI) which has a mention of this case law.

ICAI hadnt said anywhere that cases wil come from these only.....!! so yes its not good with students...

ICAI is not bound to give any case law which is exclusively from RTP or any study material which is provided by ICAI so definitely it would be wrong on our part to say injustice from ICAI. yes, if this case law would have in dispute then there would have question on ICAI.

If they're not bound to ask case-laws limited to their publications only, then what are they expecting of the students, that would mean one will have to scan the judgments of all the 25-26 High courts as well of Supreme court and that too for the last 4-5 years. Isn't it a outright folly to have such expect!!!
