Dear Sir/s,

Please give your expert opinion on whether we can tranfer entire TDS Amount or Part of TDS Amount of which we remitted in one section can be shifted/transferred to other section? (i.e.TDS Remitted through online Payment u/s 194J can be shifted/modified entire Amount to section 194H). Kindly explain complete remedy on the above.

17 June 2009 Legally there is no way to transfer the tax deposited under one head to another head.Since, our taxation infrastructure is very weak so u can take the benefit of that. You just claim the amount deposited for your correct head, as overall, amount has been credited to the account of central government with in time .
