21 January 2013 can u please let me know what or how to response on notice of tds of short deduction?
is it possible to write a letter to ITO and convince them for relieving the short deduction?
If yes, can u provide me a sample of letter?

22 January 2013 TDS short deduction need to be paid alongwith interest and need to write to ITO with challan

24 January 2013 But during payment of challan typing mistake is done in section (i.e. instead of 194C, 194D is typed), then can it be rectified by just writing a letter to ITO or the short deduction created by such mistake is to be paid, irrespective of what business we are in (i.e. if we are not in insurance business then too short deduction is to be paid u/s 194D)..?
