Tds return file validation error:"80cce deduction claimed"

08 April 2015 Hello,

I am trying to prepare TDS return file for Q4, FY 2014-2015, AY: 2015-16, but my file validation is failing with the following error: T-FV-6039 Deduction claimed under section 80CCE should not be more than Rs. 100,000

As per Income Tax Exception under 80 C is 1.5 Lakh, which I am filling for one of my employee but my file validation is failing.

Please help me and guide me.

08 April 2015 Which software you are using?

In case you are using third party software, call the customer care.

In case you are using the template given by tdscpc, then call 1800 103 0344

08 April 2015 Thanks for your reply, I am using Return Preparation Utility from NSDL website only.

I have downloaded the tool from: https://www.tin-nsdl.com/etds-etcs/eTDS-RPU.php

Please tell me if anyone has tried preparing TDS return for Q4 for FY 2014-2015

08 April 2015 Then you call 1800 103 0344 only. Because, it is released by the income tax department only and any problem should be attended by them only.

We are using third party software. We are not getting any problem while uploading the 24Q.
