18 August 2012 If I have put fixed deposit in bank on which TDS is applicable.since i am minor i have no PAN number.If i put my father's PAN number for no applicability of TDS at high rates.
is there any system of IT department that will check the name and pan number presents in tds return??

Is there any system so that one can trace this mal practises?//?

18 August 2012 There is every systematic SYSTEM where this can be found out. Whether the department really finds it out or not is a different thing.The responsibility of TDS is cast on to the heads of BANK. Bank acting in good faith and accepting your father's PAN instead of you is at RISK. You are not. Being a MINOR, please remember that every care is taken by our Acts that minor shall not be victims of the knowledge of major... at the same time it is also taken care of that majors need not be fooled by the mischief of minors. Choice is yours.
