03 November 2009 As per current norms u have to file quartely returns...
- Is there any annual return apart from quartely return?
- can u file at a go for all four qtrs?
- To nsdl aft creating fvu file can u put in a single cd 4fvu files for all 4qtrs of a single deductor r each qtr shud be burnt in separate cds?

03 November 2009 No separate annual return now. Earlier there there was such requirement but now abolished. Now you have to file quarterly return only.

You can file the quarterly tds return in one go after year completion, but there is a penalty of Rs. 100 per day for each day of default in case of quarterly return is not filed within time. So after 1st quarter you may need to pay penalty for 9 months, then for quarter second, penalty for 6 months and so on. So better to file quarterly returns quarterly in time.

Better to file each return in separate CDs.

03 November 2009 Agree with expert. Just want to add that for 24Q i.e. TDS return for salary you have to show the annual salary details and deductions claimed by the employees in annexture of the 4th quarter.
