30 March 2013 I AM CONTRACTOR MY ANNUAL INCOME IN CONTRACT 180000 COMPANY DEDUCTED 1 % TDS 18000 DEDUCTED COMPANY PROVIDE ME FORM 16 , I AM COMING UNDER IN INCOME TAX EXEMPTION LIMIT 200000 CAN I CLAIM FOR TDS REFUND IF,CLAIM WHAT IS PROCESS PLEASE ANYBODY SOLVE MY PROBLEM

30 March 2013 Yes, you can claim refund of TDS to get the refund you have to file your incometax return. So approach any tax consultent or Chartered account they sugget you and process your return filing.

31 March 2013 but sir IT return exemption limit is 5 lacs how can i fill up return ,

31 March 2013 Any one can file his return of income. To file return of income assessee should has taxable income doesn't not required. so you can file it. that means at the option of the assesses he can file his return of income eventhough as per act he not required to file. As well as those who have TDS deduction must and should be required to file income tax return to claim and get refund.
