Which section is applicable for a Doctor engaged on contract basis- Sec 194 C or 194J? Doctor s getting payment on monthly basis irrespectiv of number of cases attended..
whether Rural area allownc can b included for calculating TDS?

Sec 194 J will be applicable. Medical practice is covered under professional services.
Tax will be deducted on rural area allowance also. if any expenditure which are reimbursed is exempted.
