is it applicable to Transport of Goods by Courier/ Cargo also.

194c of incometax act if one time payment exceeds 20000.00 or aggregate payments exceds rs50000.00 in a year.then it will be liable to tds.

FROM 01/10/09 transporters are exempts from TDS Deduction. whether transport of goods by courier/cargo is also exempt.
