Hi
We are having an account with Tours & Travel co. who used to book air tickets for our employees. Is it necessary to deduct tds while making payment to them?

No... TDS is not applicable on payments to travel agents for travel tickets.

Thank you Mr. Subhash, but their bill also include their service charges with service tax? if Service charges are crossing 75k per annum then also no need to deduct tds?

In that case TDS under 194C would apply.

Further... in that case TDS would apply on the full bill amount, if ticket & service charges are shown in same bill.
Only if the ticket bill & service charges bill are separate, then you need to deduct TDS on the service charges only under section 194C
