Dear All
Whether TDS is to be deducted from Stipend paid to student / apprentice.
If yes then under which section?
Whether TDS is to be deducted from Stipend paid to student / apprentice.

No TDS is deducted on stipend. Since it is not treated as salary and apprentice is not treated as employee. So no TDS.
