Tds on software licence

11 August 2011 If we purchase readymade software licence like office 2007 (25 no.) we pay say 4 Lacs to vendor who is charging both sales tax and service tax on licences. What about TDS?. We need to deduct it on not

11 August 2011 In case of readymade packages, it can be said like purchase of goods and does not require TDS.
