Tds on security services provided

09 May 2013 Dear Sir,

Pls. let me know how much % TDS to be deducted on Security Service Bill. The Bill is amounting Rs. 8090 (Security Chgs. 7200/- & Service Tax Rs. 890/-) Pls. let me know the TDS Amount to be deducted in above case while making Payment. The Service provider is a Proprietorship & also Let me know if there is any cut of amount for such TDS deduction.

09 May 2013 TDS will apply on this amount Rs.8090/- u/s.194C, in case his bill value is less than the threshold limit of Rs.75000/- per annum, then TDS not apply
