TDS on Salary

21 January 2011 I am working in a pvt. company and I am not getting my salary from august 10. Is it compulsory to Deduct TDS on Salary by the employer even though they have not paid. If they have deducted, whether I have to show it as Income while filing my return. Since I am not sure about getting my money, I don't want to show it as Income. Kindly advise me in this regard.
