09 June 2014 Hello Sir please tell me How to Calculate TDS on Salary when salary is 100000 Pm . please tell me journal entry also

09 June 2014 Tds will b calculated after all adjustments, like PF, PTax, Esi, Perks, other Income, deduction etc.

10 June 2014 Agree with Ankit. Coz, there r many things to calculate. Otherwise u will result in larger payment of Tax.

10 June 2014 Vikas look, TDS on Salary is calculated on slab rate. but there r many other sources of income which should b added, and many deductions which should b claimed, after all that TDS is calculated on net value.

Thats y the details r required.

10 June 2014 sir i know all these things but my one of my friend calculated an tds rs 14000 on salary of rs 100000 . i was also confused from these calculation thats why i took help from Caclubindia for right answer.

10 June 2014 Vikash if u know the slab rate u can also calculate it easily. N if u dont know, then u can provide ur mail id.

It is very easy, no hard n fast rule is for that.
