During the 4th Quarter my employer has deducted excess tds of rs. 10000/- from my salary & the same has been shown by him in his TDS return (24Q) during the FY 2013-14. Now Can I claim refund of the excess TDS deducted by my employer by filing return of income.

13 May 2014 Yes u can claim Refund from IT dept. n not from ur employer, by filing ur IT Return.

13 May 2014 Yes, you can claim refund by filing your Income Tax Return. If your source of income is from Salary then you can file ITR-1 for claiming your refund.
