i am a proprietor of a recruitment firm started in april 2010 , i have to pay office rent of 20000 per month. expected turnover is less then 10 lacs for this year.
is there tds to be deducted when paying rent. Also please provide tax section no in support to the response, as my landord would want to refer the same.

Not liable because you are not liable to tax audit u/s 44AB. When u will cover under section- 44Ab then you have to deduct TDS.
