TDS on Rent

Please suggest that the surchrge on TDS rent is mandatory in case of Rent paid to Company there are any notification in this regards or Rs 1 crore limit is Applicable.

Rs. 1 Crore limit is applicable. If payment of rent is below 1 crore, then you do not need to add surcharge.
