Is TDS to be deducted on amount paid to society for monthly maintenance??

if you are talking about the society maintenance then no TDS is deducted.

We are dealing with a person who is providing dressman to us.Kind of Manpower supply.
He has provided two dressman for 6 days and bill amount is 40500
will tds be deducted on such amount u/s 194C??

The service provided is of work contract in nature and hence tds is to be deducted if the single bill is more than rs. 30000 or the total bill is more then 75000 in a particular year.
and under section 194C, tds at the rate of 2% is to be deducted.
if the person (work contractor) is individual or huf then 1% tds will be deducted instead of 2%.

I think he's providing Work Contract as said by Expert above,
TDS is to be deducted u/s 194C..
1 percent for Individual/HUF..
2 percent for others...
