Dear sir,
We are a production house, producing Tv commercials. We have to make a payment towards Modelling chgs., who is a NRI.
Is TDS applicable on the payment? What is the rule.
Kindly suggest.

TDS is applicable.
You may need to deduct TDS prescribed either for Contractor or for Professional or as per provisions of Section 195, depending upon the actual facts of the case.
