07 June 2018 Sir, we have purchasethe goods from Interstate. that amount is Rs. 12 lakh and fright amt. is 35000 / - then do I have to pay fright after TDS deduction?
how many i deduct the tds

07 June 2018 Yes you have to deduct TDS since the amount is greater than 30000. You have to deduct TDS under section 194C @1%, 2%, for Individual and HuF, Others respectively.

Otherwise deductible as per above...

07 June 2018 No TDS only if the transporter provide his PAN No. & No. of trucks should not be more than 10 at any point of the year.
Get confirmation from him as to the no. of trucks, if not provided deduct TDS @ 1% or 2% as the case may be.
