i want to know by which notification tds on contractor under section 194c not to deducted please give the notification no. & date

if you purchas corrugated box there is no tds provison but if you are manufacturers
and you will give some material on labour charges then tds provision is applicable if payments are made in excess of rs 20000
at one time and/or total payments are made in excess of rs 50000/-in the particular year then you will deduct tds on contract.this provision is applicble to individul and huf if their turnover is in excess of rs fourty lakhs u/s 44AB

DEAR FRIEND, I KNOW THIS SECTION BUT THERE LAST YEAR A NOTIFICATION CAME THAT IF OUR COMPANY NAME OR PRODUCT NAME IS NOT PRINTED ON BOXES OR PACKING CARTION THAN TDS NOT TO BE DEDUCTED FROM SUCH MANUFACTURER BILL OR PAYMENT.SO PLZ TELL ME THAT NOTIFICATION NO.

actually i want to know that whether tds should be deducted on branded packing boxes purchases on which our co. name is printed.

If the Company name is printed then the TDS has to be deducted on the bill amount.
