can any person deduct tds on amt of contract including service tax or without service tax as a like gross amt or net amt.

u/s 194C TDS will be deducted on total amount i.e. inclusive of Service Tax.
03 December 2009
inclusive ST (on gross amount) except in the case of rent u/s 194I, where TDS is deducted on Net amount exclusive of service tax.
