22 February 2010 Dear sir,

Our organization has gone for a expansion of factory premise & all the expenses were capitalized including labour bill for construction work. Now i would like to ask that should i deduct the TDS ON CONTRACT for such labour bills.

22 February 2010 Yes. TDS to be deducted on labour bill. You should deduct TDS @ 2% to company/firms and @ 1% to Individual/HUF/Co-op.Soc.
