Tds no and filing of tds return

11 August 2018 I have taken tds no in 2012 but i have not filed tds return since i have no tds deduction transactions.shall i file tds return.what are income tax laws for non filing of nil tds returns.

12 August 2018 It is not mandatory to file Nil TDS Return if you have not paid any amount to someone during a quarter on which TDS is required to be deducted. However, you have to file online declaration Traces portal for non-filing of the TDS Return for the quarter concerned.

12 August 2018 Since 2012 i have not given any declaration on traces.shall i give declaration from 2012 on traces.pl give link of traces from where i can give declaration.

13 August 2018 Step-1: Login to TRACES deductor login.
Step-2: Go to Statement / payment s menu “Declaration for Non – filing of TDS statements
Step-3 Choose Appropriate quarter for declaring NIL TDS Statements.

13 August 2018 If I do not give any declaration what will be the effect.will there be any penalty for not giving declaration.i dont have any account on traces .how will be deductors account created on traces.pl explain.
