I want to know process of late payment deposit of tds in case,after filing all Qtrs of tds returns of a particular year when income tax send a demand and ask for it.
what should we do?

two options.
pay the TDS through normal chllans. and revise the tds returns.
take a print of acknowledgment and file response to the notice stating the revisions made and taxes paid.
