Then tds is caculated on what amount?
Is it calculated on 11000 or 10000?

24 March 2012 In case of rent, TDS is deducted only on the rent portion. TDS is not deducted on the Service tax amount.

Accordingly, service tax shall be deducted on Rs. 10,000/-.
