06 January 2015 tds is applicable on printing bills only if:

1. it amounts to "works contract" as per definition given in explanation to sec 194C and in case if material is purchased by the printer from you then it will attract tds u/s 194C else not.

2. amount should cross the threshold limit as mentioned in sec 194C.
