09 June 2020 Can Any one plz help me with this. I have error while filling TDS return :- Line No-3. Record Type-Challan. Statement Type-Regular. Field Name-Total of Deposit Amount as per Challan/Transfer Voucher Number. Challan Details Record Number-3. Deductee/ Salary Detail No-NA Error Code & Description-T-FV-3169 Sum of TDS/TCS-Interest Amount + TDS/TCS-Others(amount) + Fee Amount + Total Tax Deposit Amount as per deductee annexure is greater than Total of Deposit Amount as per 'Challan' / 'Transfer Voucher'.
I was already go through previous related query but still not resolved my errors can you help me out .... didn't find exact error....for TDS return quarter 4 2020.

10 June 2020 Line no 3 might be the challan no 3. If not the do it for all challans. Very first check total amount of challan for Income Tax Surcharge and Cess without Interest or other fee. e.g. if a challan is for Rs. 105 and it has interest of Rs. 5 then claim under this challan can be made for Rs. 100 only. Now check each deductee for amount claimed on account of Income Tax Surcharge and cess. The error you are facing is your challan is for Rs. 100 but you are claiming more than Rs. 100. Try to prepare this detail in excel before feeding in software.

10 June 2020 There is no such interest or other amount only TDS amount but still showing error I am not able to solve it.i checked all amount Many times don't know where the mistake
