sir, we have negotiated with a co. to sell a house property and accordingly we have taken an advance amount of Rs. 200 lacs
The purchaser co deducted TDS @ 1% and balance paid to us.
In due cource of time the deal could not be materialised and we have to refund there advance amount paid by them. Now what will be the impact of TDS amount deducted and deposited by purchaser mentioning our pan no.
can we take credit for the said TDS Deposit deposited by purchaser while deal could not be completed and The I T Department give us the credit for the said or the purchaser should claim Refund for that deposit .
I shall remain greatful for the experts reply at earliest.

tds can be claimed via filling return of income i.e in itr only.
