22 November 2013 Sir,
If a person is working in pvt ltd company and get salary 15000 per month and it is doing parttime job also get salary 5000/- per month in cash from trader registered in vat only. then which kind of proof he will provide to his main employer(pvt ltd company) so he will get form 16 from pvt ltd company because trader (parttime job provider) has not TAN.

22 November 2013 Dear Bhuvnesh,

If you wish to get the Rs 5000 also included in your taxable income, you just need to inform your company that you are receiving Rs 5000 per month as part time salary and request your company to deduct taxes on the same too. lack of proof should not be an issue here.

Alternatively, you can pay taxes on your own on this additional income and inform your company regarding the taxes paid by you.

22 November 2013 The 2 nd option given by nikhil is more beneficial as you can decide how much u want to offer from 5,000 in cash.
