Tds deducted from newpaper adv payment?

Please let me know, can i deduct TDs form newspaper adv. payment.
Example :
If i will give one Adv in Times of India. and we are agency of times of India then can i deduct tds of 2% from such payment?

Yes you have to deduct TDS on advertisement given to newpaper agency.
deduct 1% in case of indiviual and 2% for others.

YES. TDS IS DEDUCTED FOR PAYMENT MADE TO PAPER MEDIA FOR ADVERTISEMENT U/S 194 C.
AS FOR AS ONE BIL.CHECK AMOUNT OF BILL.IF EXCEEDING Rs 30000 THEN TDS IS TO BE DEDUCTED.
ANNUALLY EXCEEDING Rs 75000
RATE 2% IN CASE OF CO
1% IN OTHER CASE.
