02 July 2018 Sir, my client is a state government employee working as a teacher, his monthly salary will be paid by Treasury after deducting the TDS amount ever month.
Recently for AY-17-18 my client has filed his IT returns and after processing the return he had received a notice of Demand for Rs 14000, after it was due to non filing of TDS returns by his Employer for the amount Deducted from his salary.

My employer is not giving me Form-16

pleas let me know how can i take action for such default maid by my employer

Sir pleas let me know the procedure to get the Demand nullified,

03 July 2018 Take up the issue of non remittance and non filing of TDS return by employer with jurisdictional TDS ITO. He will see the tds compliance by your employer. After compliance file rectification.

04 July 2018 Yes file a complaint. Contact nearest Income tax office they will guide you to your jurisdictional TDS ITO.
