17 March 2009 assessee`s father made FD 5 years back and he died later on(before 2 years). he did not had pan card. now on maturity bank has deducted TDS on the interest. his son is a salaried person and nominee to the FD. he wants to claim the TDS. can he do so?? can he club the interest income in his return and calim the tds and if no that what is to be done??
