Bank has deducted my 20% TDS for not providing pan no by me to the bank, please let me know how to claim this TDS amount.

11 April 2015 You cannot claim tds amount.

In case you want claim such tds, furnish photo copy of the pan and ask them to correct the tds return. Then,such credit will appear in form 26AS. Then, you can claim

13 April 2015 No way sir.
Because, the revision of return will cost to the branch. I think, therefore, they are refusing for revision.

You have only one way, convince the branch people. You cannot demand the branch people. Because, you are only guilty in this case. It is your responsibility to furnish the PAN copy, at the time of opening FD.
