TDS Certificate to transporter

01 July 2011 From 01.04.2010, TDS not need to be deduct on Transporter if they submit their PAN Number but have to submit detail in TDS return about total transportation,

So i wana to ask whether TDS certificate should have to issued to transporter or not as TDS not deducted on them

01 July 2011 There is no requirement to issue Nil amount TDS certificates.

The purpose behind issuing TDS Certi. is to help the deductee, in receiving the tax credit.
