How should we proceed with the payment of TDS for the month of April 2009 ?

Sir,
This is every body's concern except the CBDT.
The president of ICAI has written a letter on 5th May to the CBDT to clarify the procedure.
Need to wait for the reply.

I also agree with the above view that we should wait and if the problem is not resolved then proceed with the old procedures.

Challan 281 can be used upto 30/6/2009.I got a communication right now from ICAI central council member.
