What are the amendments made in the TDS w.e.f. 01.10.2009. Can i have the draft of amendment.

for details pl refer any tax book to update yourself. however, basic and main changes are:
1- TDS on rent @ 10% in all cases
2- TDS on Contractor-
- 1% in case of individual/HUF
- 2% in all other cases
- Nil TDS on payment to Transporter, if it provides PAN No. in absence of PAN No. 1% or 2% as case may be up to 31.3.2010.
3- No surcharge & Education cess
